This is a small conservation protected area that had a large number of Rhino in Northeast Uganda dominated by a large island surrounded by seasonally flooded swamps and wooden savanna. It is located on the western bank of White Nile approximately 40m km east of Arua. The reserve was gazette in 1965 and hobors wildlife species like the leopards, Uganda Kobs, Sitatunga, Hippos, Black and White colobus, Warthog, Buffaloes, DikDik, Monitor Lizards, Olive Baboons, Zebras, Puff adders, Foxes. Pythons, Green snakes.
