Arrive and meet a Dunia Tours and Travel guide at Entebbe International Airport and transfer to Kampala. After checking in, you will be briefed about the trip. Dinner and overnight in Kampala.
Day 2 - Kampala - Queen Elizabeth National Park
Wake up early and drive to the park; approximately 430km drive. We shall drive on Kampala - Masaka highway with a stopover at the Equator to do the equator-experiment and also be in 2 Hemispheres south and North at the same time. Thereafter, we shall drive via Mbarara with another stop for lunch. We expect to see banana plantations, fruit markets and the long horn Ankole cattle among others then arrive and enter the park through Kasenyi Gate. Check in at the lodge, dinner and overnight in the Park.
Day 3 - Game drive and boat cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park
At the park, early morning, wake up, take a cup of tea and head for the thrilling game drive at 6:00am. Game to view include Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Buffaloes, Hyenas and a variety of Antelope species. After lunch, enjoy the unique 2-hour boat ride on the Kazinga Channel. You will have a chance to view Hippos at close range. While on this Kazinga channel cruise, you will watch other bird species and there after transfer back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay in the Park.
Day 4 - Queen Elizabeth National Park – Fort-Portal City
In the morning, travel from Queen Elizabeth National Park to the tourism city; Fort- Portal, taking a scenic drive through the crater lakes’ region. Upon arrival in Fort Portal, we shall do a city tour and transfer to your hotel for dinner and accommodation.
Day 5 - Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Wake up very early and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park in the north western part of Uganda; Uganda’s largest park with an area of 3840sqkm. It will take approximately 9-10 hours on road, with a stopover at Lake Albert to view the Albertine Rift Valley. From here, we shall continue to the Bugungu Gate. As we enter the park, we may see some animals on our way to the lodge, for example Buffaloes, Lions, Giraffes, Kobs and many more. Check in at the lodge, dinner and overnight stay in the Park.
Day 6 - Game drive and Nile cruise in Murchison Falls National Park.
Early morning, with packed breakfast we shall go for the thrilling game drive where you may see animals such as Elephants, Buffaloes, Giraffes, Lions, Uganda Kobs and many others. If lucky, we may get the chance of spotting the world’s rarest shoebill stork at the down side of the stream during our game drive. After that, we shall break off for lunch. After lunch we shall go participate in an amazing and enjoyable Nile cruise to the bottom of the mighty falls. While on this cruise, we may spot animals like Hippos, Crocodile population, and other animals alongside the river, drinking water. The boat will stop at the actual point where you can clearly see the mighty Nile squeezing into a 7-meter gorge. This stop will also offer you an opportunity for some beautiful for photo shots. Thereafter, we shall transfer the lodge for dinner and overnight stay in the Park.
Day 7 - Murchison Falls National Park – Lira City
Today, we shall wake up very early, have breakfast and drive to Lira through the country side. This exciting drive to Lira passes through grass thatched houses (Manyattas); arrive in Lira City and check-into our Hotel. There after we shall have an evening tour of Lira City and experience the night life in Lira. Drive back to our Hotel for dinner and sleepover.
Day 8 - Drive to Soroti City
We shall leave the hotel after breakfast and drive to Soroti City. Upon arrival, we shall check-in at our hotel and thereafter we shall do an evening city tour. Will have a chance to see the Soroti central market, visit to old houses of Indians and offices as we are taking pictures.
Day 9 - Transfer to Mbale City.
In the morning we leave Soroti for Mbale City passing via the popular Sipi Falls, then we continue to Mbale City, again we shall do a city tour after checking in at our Hotel, Mbale is the type of City which many may pass on their way to the other parts of Uganda, but it’s low-rise.
Buildings and bustling streets provide a glimpse into local daily life. Markets here overflow with organic food and handmade items, and restaurants provide traditional meals.
Day 10 - Visit Tororo on the way to Jinja City.
After our breakfast we leave for Jinja town but via Tororo City, well known for its mammoth rock formation and historical houses that belonged to tea plantation owners as well as the Hindu temples. We shall do a short city tour then we continue, passing through Bugiri and Iganga towns on our way to Jinja the adventure City. On arrival in Jinja, we check-in at our hotel. After check-in, we shall go for a city tour and back to the hotel in time for an early dinner and retire to bed at leisure.
Day 11 - Nile cruise to the source of the Nile in Jinja City
With a worm wake up in the Adventure city (Jinja), we take breakfast then slope down to catch our boat for a Nile cruise to the source of River Nile. At this point we shall differentiate by our eyes the Lake water and River water. It’s from here River Nile starts its long journey to Mediterranean Sea. We shall also see the monument of Guaterm Gandie, then go for Jinja city tour once again and finally we shall drive back to our Hotel and transfer back to Kampala the next day.
Day 12 - Travel to Kampala
After breakfast drive to the central part of Uganda passing through Mabira Forest which is the largest tropical rain forest in East Africa. Arrive at Kampala and check in to a Hotel in the city centre, have lunch then do a city tour in the evening around the shopping malls. Return to the Hotel, dinner and retire to bed at leisure.
Day 13 - Ngamba Island
After breakfast we heat the road to Entebbe, and arrive at Lake Victoria shores to catch our Boat to Ngamba Island, to see Orphaned Chimpanzee. We shall feed and interact with them since they have 98.5 human DNA, and get to also experience the beautiful forest setting while enjoying the fresh water breeze. After we transfer back to Kampala for a City tour and retire to our Hotel. Dinner and sleepover in Kampala.
Day 14 - Shopping in Kampala.
Lazy wakeup, breakfast, and the final city tour to the neighboring suburbs of Kampala. Visiting places like the national theater, craft markets, Uganda National Museum, boda boda experience among others. Back to the hotel, dinner and overnight in Kampala.
Day 15 - Transfer to the Airport for your flight back home
Depending on the time of your flight, say bye to the Pearl of Africa named by Churchill and a country Gifted by Nature known by man, carrying only beautiful memories of Uganda.
